Method for slip detection by monitoring the angular velocity of at least one of the driven wheels of a motor vehicle, characterized in that a) a change in the load demand is detected, b) the expected effect on the angular velocity of the driven wheel is calculated from the change in load demand while taking a plurality of peripheral conditions into account, c) the result of the calculated effect is compared with the actual effect, and d) where there is undue discrepancy between the actual and the calculated result a slip detection signal is output. |
