PURPOSE:To obtain the titled mineral feed for domestic animal having excellent moldability, productivity and storability, suitable to be taken by animals and suiting their taste, by compounding mineral powder, rice flour and leaf or stalk of vegetables. CONSTITUTION:The objective feed can be produced by mixing (A) 40-90 (wt)% powdery mineral (preferably calcium phosphate, etc.) with (B) 3-10% rice flour, (C) one or more kinds of crushed product selected from (i) leaves and stalks of vegetables (e.g. alfalfa), (ii) leaves of trees (e.g. false acacia) and (iii) brans (e.g. rice bran) and, if necessary, (D) other additives, forming the mixture with e.g. a pellet mill and drying the pellets. The compound D is preferably sodium chloride or ammonium chloride and its amount is preferably 1-5%. |
