PURPOSE:To simplify the system and to prevent malfunction by providing a serial data transmission circuit to a transmission/reception end of each unit equipment and connecting the serial data transmission circuit to a signal transmission line via a photocoupler. CONSTITUTION:As each unit equipment, a system controller 1a, a personal computer 1b, a visual/ultraviolet ray spectrophotometer 1c, pumps 1d, 1e, an automatic sampler 1f and a constant temperature oven 1g are provided. The unit equipments 1a-1g are connected to a common signal transmission line 5 via a serial data transmission circuit, a branch wire line 6 and a photocoupler 7.
