PURPOSE:To detect directly an X-ray quantity as an electric signal by winding a ribbon-shaped amorphous semiconductor to a supporting body, and connecting an electrode to this amorphous semiconductor. CONSTITUTION:A detecting element is constituted of winding a ribbon-shaped amorphous semiconductor 2 to a supporting body 1 having a circular section, and connecting an electrode 3 to this amorphous semiconductor 2. As for the supporting body 1, a round rod of the same material as a phantom, namely, acryl, etc. is used, by which an influence caused by inserting the detecting element can be reduced. The amorphous semiconductor 2 is formed by using an amorphous ribbon of Si, GaAs, etc., as a base, and providing a diffused layer of impurities on said base.
