PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having a high cooling density, good fastness to color images and excellent color reproducibility by using a magenta coupler of an excellent hue at which the sharp-cutting of the absorption on a long wavelength side is good and making combination use of a specific high boiling org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the magenta coupler expressed by formula (I) is dispersed in co-presence with at least one kind of the high boiling point org. solvent expressed by formula (II) in the silver halide emultion layer. In formula (II), R<3>-R<5> denote an alkyl group, etc., and at least one group among said groups has at least one oxysilane ring. The compd. expressed by formula (I) is 1H-imidazo[1, 2-b]pyrazoles and 1H-pyrazolo[1, 2, 4]triazoles. The high boiling point org. solvent expressed by formula (II) is preferably used at 0.05-20 ratio between the high boiling point org. solvent and the magenta coupler by weight according to the kind and using amt. of the magenta coupler expressed by formula (I). |
