PURPOSE:To improve the tracking accuracy and to impress further a strong bias magnetic field in case of optical magnetic recording by driving a reflecting side optical system and a transmitting side optical system integrally in a track vertical direction and driving only the reflecting side optical system in a focus direction and a track vertical direction independently from integral driving. CONSTITUTION:The light transmitting an optical magnetic disk 4 transmits an analyzer 5, an RF signal is detected by a photo diode 6, an electromagnet 7 to impress a bias magnetic field is located to sandwich the optical magnetic disk 4 from the upper and lower directions, and the magnetic field stronger than the conventional example can be impressed. Since an actuator 2 for focus ing and a tight actuator 3 for tracking are separated from the electromagnet in a distance way, even when the strong bias magnetic field is impressed, the actuator is not influenced. Since the strong magnetic field can be impressed, the recording power can be decreased and the deleting characteristic is also improved. On the other hand, since the reflecting side optical system as a whole is driven in the track vertical direction, even when the push pull method is used, the tracking off-setting does not occur.
