摘要 PURPOSE:To give excellent durability at over 1,400 deg.C temperature and allow combustion gas to flow uniformly by forming constituent members of an air flow resistance body with a silicon carbide sintered body calcined in an argon atmosphere and incorporating as a component sub-micron silicon carbide grains and overlapping those constituent members so that they form meandering routes. CONSTITUTION:An air flow resisting body A piles up constituent members 1 formed with a sintered body which contains as a component sub-micron silicon carbide grains and which is calcined in an argon atmosphere to form a meandering route 2. The constituent members 1 presents a cross-sectional pipe shape which draws a curve, semi-circular shape, or sheet shape with skeleton construction which has slits 11 and band strips 21 alternately, and the member 1 is formed in a specified length. Because the constituent members are formed by a piling-up method without fixed ends, they have an excellent durability that no crack develops under a severe situation that under high temperature of 1,400 deg.C thermal shocks in several times or several tens of times per day are given, and the combustion gas flows uniformly from the whole area as it contacts the constituent members, so that the combustion gas can heat them uniformly.
