Process for attaching and stabilising gilding with a hard protective layer, applicable to bottles or flasks whether filled or not with their final contents. This gilding is performed at room temperature and is carried out in three successive layers including: a layer of paint, a layer of gilding and a layer of water-repellent stabilising hardener (based on pure silicone). The process according to the invention is particularly intended for gilding bottles for wines (champagne etc.), alcohols, spirits and perfumes.
