PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the clearance between a blade and a sealing material by pushing the extending part of a sealing material overlapped to both edge parts of a regulating member into the outside of the regulating member. CONSTITUTION:A developer 6 held to a prescribed layer thickness on a developing roll 2 by a regulating member 9 develops the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body. At the clearance between the pressuring part both edge outside part with the regulating member of a developing roll and a housing 5, a large sealing member 4 is extended so as to overlap to both edge parts of the regulating member, the extending part is pushed into the outside of the regulating member, thereby contacting the sealingmember to the developing roll 2 and the regulating member 9. Consequently, even when the variance on manufacture exists, the clearance cannot occur between a blade 3 and the sealing member 4. |
