Device for locking dies on a press platform 1, comprising a plurality of pressure shoes 7 which can be inclined according to the difference in thickness of two lateral die flanges 21 clamped by the shoe. The shoes possess two symmetrical locking snouts 10 and they are arranged in transverse rows in which bearings are interposed between the shoes. A cam shaft has cylindrical parts, which fit into the bores of the bearings, alternating with equi-angular spiral-shaped cams 18 which are housed in bores 15 of the shoes. The lower ends of the bearings and of the shoes are housed in a groove 8 of the platform. Packing 9 on the lateral faces of the shoes allows an independent inclination of each of the shoes, and each of the shoes is pushed upwards by a spring 13. <IMAGE>
