PURPOSE:To easily perform the preventing work of a blinding by forming the shape memory alloy made deformable at the transformation point of the normally using temp. or excepting the normally using temp. at the transformation point excepting the normally using temp. or at the normally using temp. CONSTITUTION:The supporting bar 4 of a wedge wire screen 2 is made by a shape memory alloy. The right and left sieve frame 5, 5' are connected to a power source 6 and the space with the center support beam 7 of the sieve frame 5, 5' is electrically insulated. When a current is passed between the sieve frames 5, 5' of a sifter 3, the temp. of the support bar 4 rises and it becomes in the shape like a dotted line and the solid body which has been clogged is dropped with the mutual space of the wedge wire screen 2 being opened. It returns to the original state by the help of a spring member 9 when the current is stopped. The blinding of a wire gauze can be eliminated by this device.
