发明名称 FLOW RATE SENSOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To measure a flow rate by installing optionally a sensor which has formed a vortex generating column, and a detector which has been formed on the upstream side of a movable plate and been provided with a magnetic material, as a unit, in a passage. CONSTITUTION:When a fluid flows through a passage 3, a periodical Karman vortex is generated in the rear of a detector 2 of a post-stream of a vortex generating column 1 being a static object, and a movable plate 8 which has faced an external passage 3 of the detector 2 vibrates by a vortex frequency being proportional to a flow velocity using a support 6 as a fulcrum. In this way, since the vortex generating column 1 and the detector 2 has been formed as one body, a space of a sensor is small, and also, a position relation of the vortex generating column 1 and the detector 2 is the same, the sensor can be installed to an optional passage. Also, according to this detecting system, strength of a magnetic force of a magnetic material 7 which is varied in accordance with a movement of the movable plate 8 is counted as an input signal, therefore, the sensitivity can be selected by selecting suitably length of the movable plate 8, thickness of the plate, the material, and the material of the magnetic material 7.
