PURPOSE:To improve moldability and workability, by blending a polyester modifier and an ethylene/vinyl acetate/carbon monoxide copolymer with an ethylene/vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride copolymer having excellent impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride copolymer (A) obtd. by grafting vinyl chloride onto an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer is blended with 1-20pts.wt. polyester modifier (B) having an average MW of 500-8,000 (e.g., an adipate polyester modifier) and 1-15pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate/carbon monoxide copolymer (C) in combination. Further, essential additives such as a stabilizer, an antioxidant, a colorant, etc., are added thereto to obtain the desired impact-resistant resin compsn. The compsn. is suitable for use as a cable sheathing material and other outdoor uses, etc. |
