PURPOSE:To vary an output without varying a low potentials side of a pulse output by connecting a Zener diode to an input terminal of a transistor, and also impressing its voltage directly to the base without making it pass through a coupling capacitor. CONSTITUTION:An input voltage of a figure (a) which has been impressed to an input terminal of a transistor 6 is clamped by a Zener diode 2 and a peak voltage becomes a Zener voltage Vz. The potential of a low level is not subjected to an action of the Zener diode because it is below the Zener voltage, but since a voltage is applied by a resistance 4, the potential rises, and becomes a split voltage of a power source by the resistance 4 and a variable resistance 5, therefore, a voltage of a figure (b) is applied to the base of the transistor 6. When the potential of a low level is lowered by the variable resistance 5, a base voltage of a figure (c) is obtained. When the transistor 6 is constituted so that it is always conducted electrically by an input voltage of the figures (b), (c), as for an output from an output terminal 9, a voltage of a low level becomes an output of a constant Vcs voltage as shown in figures (d), (e).
