PURPOSE:To reduce the load of fingers and to attain the smooth key operations by using a part of a human body for input of keys. CONSTITUTION:A main program decides whether a pedal key 6 is applied or not according to the signal produced by the operation of the key 6. When the operation of the key 6 is decided, the output code data is read out of a code output register. Then the code data stored in that time point is supplied to a computer 5. While the signal produced by the key 6 is also used as an interruption request signal and therefore an interruption program is executed. Then the state of a code setting circuit 18 is read and the set code data is stored in the code output register. If the key 6 is not operated yet, the code given from a code output circuit 17 of a keyboard 1 is supplied to a CPU 14, then outputted to an output circuit 16 to be supplied to the computer 5.
