发明名称 VIBRATION-PROOF STRUCTURE FOR MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To protect a magnetic disk device from external vibration when a housing for the disk device is mounted, by adding a buffer mechanism to the structure where the disk device is attached to its housing. CONSTITUTION:A shock amount 10 is held between an L support 8 and a plate 11 and fixed by a nut 14 to prevent the vibration produced toward and arrow head 15. While a buffer device is set at an approximately center part of an area where the mount 10 is installed, i.e., on the centroid line of a magnetic disk disk device to prevent the vibration produced in the radius and circumferential directions of the disk. A buffer ring 17 is put into a hole 15 of the support 8 and a ring 18 is put into the hole of the ring 17 and fixed by a bolt 19, a washer 20 and nut 21. Then the ring 18 can move within a due range owing to the presence of gaps (a) and (b). When the gap (a) overruns its range due to the external vibration, the ring 17 comes into contact with the ring 18 to attain the vibration-proof effect. While the gap (b) functions to avoid such a case where the mount 10 is extended and broken.
