PURPOSE:To prevent a device from damaging due to the fetching of a false card by reading the identification information attached in the vicinity of the tip of a card before the card is received. CONSTITUTION:When a card 20 is inserted manually from an insertion opening 2, the identification information attached in the vicinity of the tip of the card 20 is passed under a reflection type sensor 11. Based on the information read with the reflection type sensor 11, the kind of the card 20 is decided. When the card 20 is a card which is impossible to be handled with the device, the fetching is prohibited, and a fact is displayed on a display part. When the card 20 is the card possible to the handled with the device, the card 20 is sandwitched between a driving roller 4 and a pinch roller 6, then being fetched in the inside of a main body 1. |
