PURPOSE:To simplify a release structure and to facilitate assembling work by bringing the second claw of a release york lever having a support shaft mounted on a clutch housing into contact with a pin or a boss of a release bearing, and subsequently putting same between the first and second claws. CONSTITUTION:A pin 19 is mounted on an outer bearing case 13, and a release york lever 16 including the first claw 17 and the second claw 18 is installed around a release york support shaft 29 mounted on a clutch housing 22. At the time of fixing the clutch housing 22 on an engine body 1, the forward end portion of a driven shaft 9 is fitted in a central recess portion 2a of a fly wheel 2, and the second claw 18 is brought into contact with the pin 19. The pin 19 is further pushed and the release york lever 16 is turned, so that the pin 19 is fitted in a groove 30. Thus, a release structure can be simplified, and assembling work can be facilitated.
