In the device (2), the swivel movement of the headrest (11) and the footrest (22) takes place by means of a motor via pairs (9 and 25) of swivel levers which may be connected to one another via drawbars (14). A device and a corresponding design of the fittings are to be provided which can optionally be used for accommodating a single motor or two motors, i.e. in the former case with automatic lifting of the footrest when the headrest is lifted and, in the latter case with separate lifting of headrest and footrest by means of two motors. Two swivel axles (5, 6) are provided which can be moved about a common axis (7) of rotation, a first swivel axle (5) having the swivel levers (9) for the headrest (11), hinge straps (12) for the drawbars (14) and an attachment fitting (15) for a driving pressure motor, and a second swivel axle (6) likewise having hinge straps (19) for the drawbars (14) in addition to an attachment fitting (15') for a further pressure motor, it being possible for said drawbars (14) to be fixed optionally on corresponding hinge straps (12, 19) of the two swivel axles (5, 6), said hinge straps being arranged closely adjacently in the position of use. <IMAGE> |
