The present invention relates to a pipe with a safety connection in which the connection 1 comprises a tubular connector 8 to which the free end of the pipe 9 is fixed with the aid of a removable clamping collar 10. According to the invention, the clamping collar 10, as well as the neighbouring zones of the pipe 9 and of the connection 1, are completely trapped in a one-piece protective shell 12, which is advantageously formed from two identical half-shells which are made by moulding a plastic material and are securely fastened to one another, preferably by ultrasonic welding. Application to pipes for medical use, used for example in recovery rooms and anaesthetic rooms. <IMAGE>
