PURPOSE:To enable utilizing a floor space efficiently by providing in form of concentric circles and cubically a fixed type rack and setting a fork which is rotated at the center thereof, moved up and down, and advanced and retreated in relation to a pallet. CONSTITUTION:A pallet exchanging device 15 replaces a pallet on a table with another pallet on a cradle 14a with the use of only a rotation action. A stockpile rack 20 has receiving shelves of pellets, and each receiving shelf is in form of concentric circles including the cradle 14a, and upward and downward provided over plural stages. And a pair of guard rails 63 is horizontally supported on a ramp 51, and rollers 64 are projected and supported on the inside circumference surface of each guide rail 63. A rack bar 67 is fixedly provided on the under surface of a shift fork 66 forming, on its both side faces, U-shaped channels the rack bar 67 guided with the rollers 64, and a pinion 68 engaged with the rack bar 67 is connected to a motor 80 through gears 69 and 70. |
