The subject of the invention is a device for closing shutters characterised in that it is made up from section assemblies distributed on the leaves of shutters, as well as on the two bearing walls so that in the shutters closed position, they form a rigid horizontal bar barred by a safety lock. At least one element, situated on or in the sectioned assembly fixed on the first shutter flap slides horizontally on or in the profiled assembly fixed on the second shutter flap. According to the invention, at least two plates, each having a projecting part, are fixed on either side of the shutters on the masonry, thus locking the closure device and making it practically impossible to rip out the hinge pins. <IMAGE>
