PURPOSE:To correct the dog-ear of bank bills and the like so as to align them orderly by providing the second rotary member which is smaller in outer diameter than an impeller and rotates at speeds higher than the impeller, to the same direction as that of the impeller. CONSTITUTION:A paper sheet forwarded by forwarding rollers 9 and 10, for example, a bank bill P, is conveyed while being held by blades 6 which are planted onto an impeller 4 at certain intervals and are made of an elastic material, for falling down in order into a safe 2 by a stopper 7. Bills P piled in the safe 2 are discharged out one by one by a forwarding roller 12 and a separating roller 13. And a rotary member 8, which is smaller in diameter than the impeller 4 and rotates at speeds higher than the impeller 4, is provided at the side of the impeller 4 for keeping in touch with the tip end of the bill P which is held between blades 6. This constitution corrects the dog-ear of the bill P for aligning the bill in the safe 2 so as to prevent the occurrence of jamming and the duplication in discharging of more than two sheets. This device is most suitable to a circulating type automatic safe for incomings and outgoings.
