A description is given of a drive arrangement with a first, driving shaft and a second shaft (3) which can be driven via a gear mechanism in a defined angular position relative to the driving shaft, the gear mechanism having a driving gear (1) held in torsionally rigid fashion on the second shaft. In order to achieve as simple as possible an adjusting operation for the setting of the phase angle of the two shafts relative to one another, the driving gear is to be divided into a hub part (5) connected to the second shaft (3) and a rim part (6) which can be driven by the first shaft, these being connected to one another by frictional engagement in such a way that they transmit reliably the driving torque which occurs during operation but can rotate relative to one another, overcoming the frictional engagement, when a twisting torque which far exceeds the driving torque is applied. <IMAGE>
