PURPOSE:To obtain a permanent magnet alloy having superior temp. characteristics, superior environmental resistance and high reliability without deteriorating high magnetic characteristics peculiar to a rare earth element-iron type permanent magnet alloy by adding Ni to the alloy. CONSTITUTION:This permanent magnet alloy consists of one or more kinds of rare earth elements (R) other than Sm, Er and Sc, B, Ni and Fe and is represented by the formula (where 13<=x<=18, 6<=y<=10 and 5<=z<=15). The permanent magnet alloy has superior corrosion and heat resistances, superior temp. characteristics and high magnetic characteristics. |
