PURPOSE:To make a smooth start-up in power-on operation even when a load with constant power consumption characteristics is connected by providing a current value varying means which increases a rated current value only for a specific time in the power-on operation to a power unit which performs drooping control when its output current increase above the rated value. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 4 is turned on to connect a driving power source 5 to an output circuit 6 and an input detection part 16, a switch 15 is closed for a specific time T and the resistance 11 of a current detecting circuit becomes parallel to a resistance 14, so the composite resistance decreases and the rated current value at which a differential amplifier 18 outputs a drooping control signal becomes large. Therefore, even if the current increases when a load 10 has constant power consumption characteristics and the output voltage signal is generated and a smooth start-up is made. The switch 15 is opened when the specific time set in a timer circuit 17 is elapsed and the resistance of a current detecting circuit is only the resistance 11.
