发明名称 DETECTING METHOD FOR FOREIGN MATTER IN COKE
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect safely even a comparatively small foreign matter mixed in coke without asking for a person's help, by detecting the foreign matter by a temperature difference generated by cooling of the coke. CONSTITUTION:Coke discharged from a rotary cooler 1 in a manufacturing process is transferred to a belt conveyor, after small coke is separated by a sieve machine 2, cooled naturally to a temperature of 80-100 deg.C and transferred to a silo, etc. In this state, radiation infrared rays from the surface of the coke are caught by an infrared ray radiation thermometer 4 provided on the upper part on the way of the conveyor 3, caught by a detector and converted to an electric signal, and scanned and transmitted to a signal processing part 5. In the signal processing part 5, the transmission signal at every picture element is converted to a temperature, and subsequently, an average temperature of the whole area to be measured is calculated. A threshold level obtained by adding a temperature inputted and set in advance from a control device 9, to said average temperature, and the temperatures at every picture element are compared, and when the temperature of one of the picture elements is larger, it is decided that the foreign matter exists, and an alarm 6 is outputted.
