<p>PURPOSE:To recover W, Mo, Co, Ni, etc. efficiently, by kneading sodium carbonate with coke and slag containing valuable metallic components, calcining the mixture, pulverizing the calcined mixture, and subjecting the mixture to the magnetic separation. CONSTITUTION:A slag containing valuable metallic components, e.g. a residue after the crushing, magnetic separation, jigging, etc. of a slag formed in preparing ferroalloy or magnet steel, is mixed with about 10wt% each sodium carbonate and coke, preferably further about 5wt% clay, and the resultant mixture is calcined at about 1,000 deg.C for about 30 min, pulverized and subjected to the magnetic separation. According to the method, the valuable metallic components even in a fine metallic state or sulfide or oxide, can be efficiently recovered.</p> |
