PURPOSE:To obtain a pump which has high adiabatic efficiency and low manufacturing cost and is easy to produce by devising the constitution of vanes of a male rotor and a pump chamber in the pump constituted or rotary and fixed hollow bodies and male and female rotors. CONSTITUTION:A noncontact pump is constituted of a male rotor consisting of vanes 1 and a vane supporter 3, a female rotor 4, a rotary hollow body 7 and a fixed hollow body 9. The side C2 of the advance side of a vane 1 of the male rotor is generated by the portion communicating to the outer periphery of the female rotor 4 at the tip of the wall face (l1) on the advance side forming a collapsed section 6 in which the vane 1 is inserted. If the volume of a pump chamber Pc contained by the vane 1 of the male rotor and the female rotor 4 is shrunk, the inner fluid is compressed, when the pressure in the pump chamber Pc becomes equal to the pressure in the rotary hollow body 7, the opening/ closing port 8 on the rotary hollow body 7 is communicated to the discharge port 10 of the fixed hollow body 9, and the fluid is discharged into the rotary hollow body 7.
