A code-operated, multiple security system is effective for an environment (e.g. motor car) consisting of physically separate, encloseable compartments, which are functionally inter-related and complement one another, together forming a functionally inseparable entity. This security system consists of code-transmitters, receivers, and access-inhibitors. To provide a high level of security, the receivers and at least one of the access-inhibitors must be within one enclosure, separate from the code-transmitter.
