PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of a troubled form and to make maintenance convenient by incorporating an inverting eject mechanism in a device body and arranging an image carrier and at least one process means in a process unit, and making this unit attachable to and detachable from the device body which can be divided into two. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 3, an electrifier 4, a destaticizer 7, and a cleaner 8 except a developing device 5 are built in a unit 10 as one body, and the unit 10 is made attachable to and detachable from an upper unit 1A of a device body 1. An inverting guide plate 11 and an eject roll 12 arranged behind a fixing device 9 are incorporated in the device body 1. The device body 1 can be divided vertically into two, namely, the upper unit 1A and a lower unit 1B through a hinge mechanism. Thus, troubled forms are removed easily even if the form is troubled by such as the generation of jam. Since the process unit 10 is made attachable and detachable, maintenance is convenient. |
