PURPOSE:To make it possible to rapidly and accurately read a peak at low cost to input the same to a computer, by performing only the reading of a reference position necessary for calculating a peak position and a peak value necessary for analysis without reading the whole of an analytical chart. CONSTITUTION:A cursor 3 is successively matched with positions (reference positions) A, B, C on an analytical chart 7 and the push button switch of the cursor 3 is operated to input the coordinates of said positions A, B, C to a computer 4. Whereupon, the calculation of the inclination of the analytical chart 7 or the allotment of the origin is performed according to a predetermined program. By this process, the peak reading preparation of the analytical chart 7 is completed. Next, positions of the peak to be read on the analytical chart 7, for example, positions P1, P2, P3 are successively matched with the cursor and, when these coordinates are inputted to the computer, the values on the analytical chart are converted to a wave number or transmitted light intensity on the basis of the already calculated origin or inclination of the chart and an initially set scale to be displayed on a display picture. |
