PURPOSE:To prevent an image forming device from being large-sized and simplify replacement and maintenance of an image carrier by providing the image carrier and at least one developing device in one frame body which is provided freely attachably to and detachably from the image forming device body. CONSTITUTION:When a cam 30 is rotated in the direction of an arrow by a driving mechanism, the cam 30 presses a pressuring spring 32, and a color developing device 13 approaches a photosensitive drum 11 against a return spring 34. A rack 13b is moved to rotate a gear 37 counterclockwise, and a rack 14a is moved right, and a black developing device 14 is separated from the photosensitive drum 11; and when the cam 30 is rotated at 180 deg., the color developing device 13 is set in the development position to perform development. When the cam 30 is rotated in the opposite direction at 180 deg., developing devices 13 and 14 are returned to original positions. When stopper members of upper and lower units 52 and 51 are opened in case of replacement of the photosensitive drum 11, an upper unit where the photosensitive drum 11, developing devices 13 and 14, etc., are arranged is opened in the direction of an arrow by a spring mechanism, and the photosensitive drum 11 is detached together with an electrifier 12, a cleaning device 16, and a black developing device 14 as one body. |
