PURPOSE:To obtain a lithographic printing plate having superior printing resistance without especially requiring a stage for removing an unfixed toner image by forming an ink-repellent layer by vapor phase polymn. on a substrate having the toner image formed by an electrophotographic process so that the layer adheres well to the substrate. CONSTITUTION:An ink-repellent layer is formed by vapor phase polymn. on a substrate having a toner image formed by an electrophotographic process so that the layer adheres well to the substrate. The resulting material can be used as a lithographic printing plate as it is. When the toner image is treated in the unfixed state, the image is removed together with the part of the ink- repellent layer on the image, forming an ink-receptive image part, so satisfactory printing can be carried out. |
