PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a laser oscillator by saving an individual space for only a gas cooling device separated from that for a gas duct by arranging a gas cooling device in the gas duct. CONSTITUTION:A gas-cooling device 3 is arranged in a gas duct 2. A laser gas circulates and is heated by discharge of an electrode body 1. The laser gas heated to high temperature is led to the gas duct 2 and passes the cooling device 3. The heat retained by the laser gas is deprived by a cooling water by heat exchange. As a result, an individual space for only the gas-cooling device 3 separated from that for the gas duct 2 becomes unnecessary and the cost of a laser oscillator is reduced. |
