<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the vibration of suction and discharge valves and damp down noise resulting from pulsation by forming at least one of the opening areas of a suction port and a discharge port provided on a valve board, non-symmetrically with respect to the center line of the arms of corresponding suction valve and discharge valve. CONSTITUTION:The opening areas of a suction port 9 and a discharge port 10 which are provided on a valve board 4 closely combined with a suction valve 11 and a discharge valve 12, are formed non-symmetrically with respect to the center axis x-x' of arms, or preferably, so that the opening areas on the flowing direction side (y) of a gas cooling medium are the larger. Accordingly, since gas pressure acts on the suction valve 11 and the discharge valve 12 in a lopsided form with respect to the center axis x-x' of these valves, these valves are stably deflected on the lopsided side, which acts so as to also suppress vibration in the regular deflecting direction x-x', thereby, effectively damping down suction and discharge pulsation. Also, by setting the opening areas of the suction port 9 and the discharge port 10 which are formed non-symmetrically, in such a way that the flowing direction side (y) of the gas cooling medium is the larger, the deflecting direction of valves can be stabilized without being against a gas flow.</p> |
