CONSTITUTION:By fitting a magnetic spacer 3 at a groove 1b of a magnetic core 1 and abutting respective projections 3a of the magnetic spacer 3 to a sliding surface 1a, the magnetic spacer 3 is positioned in the Y direction of an arrow, namely, in the depth direction of the groove 1b. The depth of the fitting has a size D. Thereafter, the magnetic spacer 3 is fixed to the groove 1b by the adhesives, etc., and a magnetic gap is formed between both side surfaces of the magnetic spacer 3 and both inside surfaces of the groove 1b. Continuously, in the same way, the part projected from the sliding surface 1a of the magnetic spacer 3 is removed by grinding, the sliding surface 1a as a whole is ground to the cylindrical shape and a whole width deleting head is completed.
