<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure reducing effect while effectively utilizing an energy by employing a combination of a steam turbine and an induction generator instead of a pressure reduction valve. CONSTITUTION:A steam turbine 4 is inserted to form a part of a connecting pipe to a connecting pipe between a high pressure steam pipe 2 and a low pressure steam pipe 3. Electric output of a high frequency induction generator 5 coupled with the turbine 4 is supplied through a stationary frequency converter 7 to a commercial power system 8. A pressure regulator 12 operates a valve opening of an inlet valve 41 to hold the steam pressure of low pressure side detected by a pressure detector 13 at set value. Further, the converter 7 is controlled is response to the rotating speed of the turbine 4.</p> |
