PURPOSE:To weld exactly a porosity by pressure, by providing a base block to which a press hardware has been attached, so as to be liftable and also movable in a slab advance direction, on a housing, so that a rolling work can be executed to a slab which is being moved, in the course of running. CONSTITUTION:Both base blocks 12, 17 are made adjacent by rotating the lower wheel shaft 2 and the upper wheel shaft 6, and also accelerated and moved in the advance direction of a slab 27 by cylinders 14, 24. When press hardwares 16, 26 abut on the slab 27, a rolling reduction is executed by a rolling reduction cylinder 8, and the base blocks 12, 17 are moved together with the slab 27 by the feed cylinders 14, 24. In this way, the rolling reduction of the slab is executed in the course of running without stopping the movement of the slab, and also, contact length of a metallic die and the slab, and the rolling reduction can be selected separately, respectively, therefore, a large rolling reduction is obtained and a porosity is welded exactly by pressure. |
