PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a defective item and the overload of a machine by providing a sensor near the slide upper dead center and by outputting the maximum value in the variation at the upper dead center side, then by updating the maximum value thereof in order. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 12 is provided near the upper dead center of the slide 1 at the frame 11 side of a press machine and an analizer 13 and analog/digital convertor 14 are arranged as well. The control limit of the upper dead center locus is inputted and stored in the analizer 13 and the control is performed so as to transmit a signal to the output 15 in case of the upper dead center poditional signal being continuously generated. The variation in the slide 1 close to the upper dead center is detected by the sensor 12 and the maximum value only in the variation is updated in order via the analizer 13 and A/D convertor 14 on the detected value thereof. The generation of defective items is prevented and the overload of machines can be prevented as well due to an accurate slide position being detected. |
