PURPOSE:To provide a small wheel base to eliminate troubles in getting on and off a tractor by providing a reduction gear mechanism at the clutch housing side and a arranging an input shaft of a transmission mechanism in the height equal to that of a drive pinion shaft. CONSTITUTION:A reduction gear case 2 is mounted on the rear portion of a clutch housing 1, and a gear 6 provided on a clutch shaft 4 meshes with a gear 8 provided on an output shaft 5 to form a reduction gear mechanism 8. In a transmission case 9, an input shaft 12 is supported approximately coaxially with a drive pinion shaft 11 for driving a rear wheel differential mechanism 10 and connected to the output shaft 5 through an universal joint 13 so that the pinion shaft 11 and a front wheel driving shaft 15 projecting the front portion forward from the lower portion of the case 9 are driven by a transmission mechanism 14. Since the output shaft 5 is thus provided below the clutch shaft 4, the height of the universal joint 13 is lowered to make the movement of getting on and off a tractor convenient. |
