PURPOSE:To easily print on a molded article of a polyolefin resin, by a method wherein a paper or film printed in an ink comprising a permeating diffusive dye is placed on the olefin resin molded article, and a part or the entire part of the paper or film is subjected to a heat treatment by a heating and pressing device to infiltrate the ink into the molded article. CONSTITUTION:A film printed in an ink comprising a permeating diffusive dye is placed on an olefin resin molded article, and the film is heated and pressed at a high temperature for a short period of time by a hot plate which is slightly larger than the film. Since only a part or the entire surface of the paper or film is heated, the molded article as a whole is not deformed, and since the infiltration is effected at the high temperature and in the short period of time, the ink infiltrated into the molded article is fast. A curved surface which can not be printed by screen printing or pad printing can be printed by this method. Accordingly, inexpensive printing with stable quality can be easily achieved. |
