PURPOSE:To interpolate the data of an unknown dot without being influenced with the position of a known dot by finding the data of the unknown dot mixed among the known dots while using the data of n-dimensional simplex which consists of the known dots and fetches the unknown dot. CONSTITUTION:An unknown dot P0 is selected within the inside or at the boundary of the n-dimensional simplex consisting of known dots (in other words, apexes of the n-dimensional simplexes P1, P2,..., Pn+1) with a retrieval means 1. And for the position vectors of these apexes P0, P1, P2,..., Pn+1, equations I and II are solved under the condition represented in equation III, and coefficients t1, t2,..., tn-1 are found with a coefficient arithmetic means 2. Finally, the arithmetic of equation IV is performed at a sum of products sum arithmetic means 3 using the coefficients and the data of the apexes q1, q2,..., qn+1, and the data q0 of the unknown dot P0 is found. At such a time, since scattered known dots can be used for every apex of the n-dimensional simplexes, a specified position relation between the known dot and the unknown dot is not required. |
