PURPOSE:To lessen an surroundings pollution and to prevent the badness of recoloring by color-developing processing the photosensitive material contg. a specific phenolic cyan coupler followed by bleach-processing the obtd. material in a presence of the compd. shown by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains at least one kind of the phenolic cyan coupler shown by formula II, and also contains at least one layer having a sensitizing wavelength different from those of the another photosensitive layers. Said titled material is imagewisely exposed, and then is color-developed with a processing solution having the bleaching ability in the presence of at least one kind of the compds. shown by formula I. When said compd. is used for the only photographic constituting layer, the amount of said compd. to be added is 1X10<-5>-5X10<-3>mol/m<3>. When said compds. is used for the processing solution or the preprocessing solution, said amount is preferably 1X10<-3>-1mol/l. By said processing, the bleaching of the coloring matter formed by an oxidative coupling or the badness of the recoloring which retains in a state of a leuco coloring matter are prevented. |
