PURPOSE:To form the image having a good image quality, even if in surroundings of a high humidity by incorporating fine powders of silica to a toner, and by coating the surface of a carrier particle with a silicone resin contg. a silicone oil followed by curing it. CONSTITUTION:The silicone resin contg. the silicone oil is coated on the surface of the carrier particles followed by curing it, thereby obtaining the carrier having an excellent water proof property. Thus, by mixing the toner contg. the fine powders of silica and said carrier, the revelation of a hygroscopic property due to the fine powders of silica is depressed by the excellent water proof property of the carrier resulted in improving the flowability of the fine powders of silica whereby the frictional electrification property of the toner and the carrier is stabilized, and the image having a high density is formed without generating a fog. And, the surface of the carrier has a remarkably improved lubricant due to the silicone oil, and the image having a good image quality and a less tendency for generating the fog is formed with a good stability for a long period. |
