PURPOSE:To compress the quantity of data by thinning out the field transmitted every prescribed number of the fields and transmitting an extremely small quantity of parameter instead of picture data of the omitted fields. CONSTITUTION:To an input terminal 1 to which a digitized TV signal is supplied, the field memories 11-20 corresponding to the cycle of a frame drop are connected cascade in and transmission data is supplied to a reference picture element generating circuit 2 from the field in which the transmission is carried out. The circuit 2 samples the reference picture element in the vicinity of a marked picture element of the field in which the transmission is omitted from the transmitted fields and the data of the field in which the transmission is omitted is supplied to an inverse matrix circuit 5 through a transposed matrix integrating circuit 3 and an addition circuit 4. The output of the circuit 5 is supplied to multiplication circuits 41-44, the parametar is identified by the use of the reference picture element, and the parameter of the field in which the transmission is omitted is supplied to output terminals 7, 8, 9, 10. Thereby, the quantity of the data can be compressed and transmitted. |
