Anti-theft device for a vehicle

The invention relates to anti-theft devices for vehicles, not allowing the various pedals 1, 2, 3 to be used. Two main jaws 4, 5 close and lock together; they are fixed to the floor of the vehicle by a common central part 7. The material used, the structure and the placing of the unit in the vehicle do not allow the said unit to be tampered with. A safety system 8 prevents any possible closing of the jaws during normal operation of the vehicle.
