Device for walking on slopes while keeping the feet level. The invention relates to a device permitting working on a slope (mowing, undergrowth clearing, etc.), without fatigue for the ankles and with much less risk of an accident. It consists of a sole where the foot is held by straps. Another sole, articulated to the first by virtue of hinges 16, comes into contact with the slope. The risk of slipping is eliminated by virtue of tongues penetrating into the earth. The angle adjustment formed by two pieces 3 and 3, which are adjusted one on the other, is located on the side of the soles, opposite the hinges. Through these two pieces, each pierced either with several holes 6 or with a groove 15, is passed a screw 7 which is tightened with the wing nut 8 in order to lock the two soles together at the desired angle. <IMAGE>
