摘要 The probe for measuring gaseous or liquid flows with respect to direction and intensity contains at least two outwardly open measurement chambers having equally effective ram pressure measurement apertures which are situated opposite each other in an axially (rotationally) symmetrical fashion such that their measurement apertures point in opposite directions, and preferably also a further pair of chambers which consists of two identical outwardly open measurement chambers and is arranged essentially at right angles to the first pair of measurement chambers, all four ram pressure measurement apertures having the same distance from the common axis of symmetry. Provided in the rear parts of the measurement chambers are measuring devices for determining the pressures in the measurement chambers and/or for determining the differential pressure between the measurement chambers of a respective pair of measurement chambers. The pressure differential signal of one pair of measurement chambers is a sinusoidal signal which is a function of the angle of incidence of the flow with respect to the probe, and the pressure differential signal of the other pair of measurement chambers delivers a cosine signal as a function of the angle of incidence. This sinusoidal signal and this cosine signal can be used in each case to determine, preferably electronically, the direction of the flow, on the one hand, and the intensity of the flow, on the other hand. The measurement accuracy can be increased by subdividing the measurement chambers with the aid of partitions, and the sensitivity can be increased by enlarging the aperture angle of the measurement chambers.
