PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive composition having excellent coating performance and safety and used for coating scratches on a glass vessel by incorporating an acetylated glycerin fatty acid ester into the composition as the essential component. CONSTITUTION:The acetylated glycerin fatty acid ester is incorporated into the composition for coating scratches on a glass vessel as the essential component. The acetylated glycerin fatty acid ester is obtained by acetylating the acidic residue of a glycerin mono-fatty acid ester or a glycerin di-fatty acid ester. When the acetylation degree is lower than 30%, the performance is deteriorated, and hence the acetylation degree is regulated to 50-100%.
